It has become a tradition for the Swedbank team to make a Christmas donation, which the Swedbank company contributes on behalf of its employees. At the end of December this year, Swedbank employees decided to support five non-governmental organizations that care for children and young people in difficult situations.
With their votes, Swedbank employees allocated 70,000 euros, providing significant support to the organization "Mentor Latvia", the Ziedot.lv foundation's project "Puppies of the heart''. Audiologist-canine therapist sessions for children with special needs, "the 'Resilience Center" association, "Dr. Clown" association, and the "Help One Another" association led by Edijs Pipars.
'With this donation, we want to strengthen these five organizations, which have not only been able to mobilize resources for aid but also involve others in their work, showing that together we, as a society, can accomplish a lot," emphasizes Lauris Mencis, Chairman of the Board of Swedbank Latvia.
A heartfelt thank you to the Swedbank employees who chose to direct their donation to the Ziedot.lv program "Puppies of the heart'' which will provide audiologist-canine therapist sessions at the POGA rehabilitation center in 2025!
