Cancer is a severe, progressive, malignant disease that, thanks to advances in modern medicine, is increasingly possible to halt. Unfortunately, in many cases, the treatment provided by the state is insufficient. The sick person often faces situations where the state does not cover the cost of medications, or the co-payment for the medication is so high that the family cannot afford it on their own. This causes great distress and adds an emotional burden, not only on the severely ill individual but also on their loved ones, when the necessary medication and hope for treatment are available, but there is no money to save a life. In such cases, the support of others is crucial.
