We invite Latvian companies and society to provide the children of Chernihiv with portable computers for learning. The purpose of the charity campaign is to provide laptops to ensure the learning process during airstrikes and it is impossible to attend school.
At a time when Latvia has announced that it will form an international drone coalition with other countries of the world, in support of Ukraine, we invite Latvian companies and society to join another coalition - in support of Ukrainian schoolchildren! The goal of the "Computer Coalition" charity campaign is to procure at least 2,000 laptops and hand them over to the charity fund of the First Lady of Ukraine, Olena Zelensky.
The charity foundation of Olena Zelenska invites to stand up for the Ukrainian children who suffered in the full-scale invasion of Russia. Especially for those who stayed in Ukraine, because their parents are fighting for the existence of their country and people. In response to Ukraine's request, the charity organization Ziedot.lv and the Embassy of Ukraine in Latvia have launched an aid program to provide students in the Chernihiv region with laptops, so that they can study remotely even when it is not safe to walk on the street. The goal of the aid program is to raise funds for the purchase of at least 2,000 laptops for Ukrainian children. The cost of one computer is on average up to 400 euros.
