Andrejs‘ diagnosis – a central nervous system disorder involving Dandy-Walker syndrome. The boy cannot serve himself, does not speak, but understands everything. He walks with support, but tries to walk himself. His parents put great effort to recover their child's health.
Andrejs goes to the 2nd special boarding school. He likes the school and to learn something new.
Andrejs undertook 2 series of treatments in “Poga” rehabilitation centre, which were very useful to him. The boy began to move on his feet around the flat more confidently, a desire for independence developed.
Unfortunately, the family does not have funds for rehabilitation – Andrejs’ mum is always beside him, his dad is the only one who works. The rehabilitation course costs 1,800 EUR. Three courses of rehabilitation a year, which are essential to Andrejs, would cost 5,400 EUR.
