Artūrs is 10 years old. From his peers and playmates, he differs with his right leg and right hand, which do not move freely. Already since birth, Artūrs’ diagnosis was infantile cerebral palsy, posture and speech disabilities.
Two to three times a year, Artūrs’ mother and father provide their son treatment and rehabilitation at Gaiļezers hospital and at Vaivari Rehabilitation Centre. Artūrs is a clever boy, he is an enthusiastic learner, loves his younger brother very much, but is also shy, unsure and timid.
With the support of Ziedot.lv contributors, Artūrs had a chance to attend dolphin therapy in Ukraine, at Yevpatoria Treatment Base. After this therapy, Artūrs had many impressions and emotions. His speech improved and he now uses his right hand more.
LVL 1 500 are needed to provide further treatment for Artūrs. His family does not have such money, so they are turning to others for support. Artūrs’ family really hopes to receive support from contributors, to provide their son the chance to recover!
