The twins Dmitrijs and Vadims were born on 1 January 2002. They weighed 1 200 g and 1 250 g (respectively). The boys were very weak and at the age of one were diagnosed with infantile cerebral palsy. The boys receive rehabilitation in Latvia and abroad and their health is improving thanks to the treatment courses. Dmitrijs and Vadims like to sing karaoke, play with cars and learn about the surrounding world.
The boys need regular rehabilitation at the International Clinic of Rehabilitation in Truskavets and the dolphin therapy centre in Yevpatoria.
