Linards is a six year old, happy and smiling boy. When Linards was a year old, doctors diagnosed him with infantile cerebral palsy. By the time he was six, he had only been able to walk 30 steps on his own. Linards moved around mostly by crawling or by walking when being held by both hands. He could barely could touch the ground with his left heel.
Linards’ parents take great care of their son – they regularly bring Linards to riding lessons, massages and swimming. Linards has been at the International Clinic of Rehabilitation in Truskavets several times, including with the support of Ziedot.lv contributors, and has undergone surgery and completed a rehabilitation course at the Orthopaedic Clinic in Munich, Germany.
Linards has begun to walk! But his coordination is impaired.
Linards is attending kindergarten and is trying to keep up with the pace of his peers.
Such good results as he has now would not have achieved here because such rehabilitation is not available in Latvia. A rehabilitation course in the International Clinic of Rehabilitation in Truskavets would be really necessary.
LVL 6 330 are needed to support Linards. Little Linards and his parents really hope to receive the support of contributors.
Let’s help Linards!
