On February 24, each Ukrainian's life turned upside down. Rarely can anyone imagine what is happening in Ukraine right now. It's not some plot from a horror film or book, but a reality. Powerlessness, despair, fear, anxiety, apathy, loss of meaning – with such feelings, many wake up in their homes, basements, temporary shelters around the world. Psychologists and psychotherapists will provide consultations to help Ukrainians survive these terrible days and find the lost support.
A team of psychotherapists is prepared to give Ukrainians a group and individual consultations to help them mitigate the consequences of war stress. Group sessions for adults and children will be organised, both for those who have severely suffered and for those who were present in traumatic events or witnessed thm. The psychological support groups are targeted at participants suffering from excessive tension - anxiety, guilt, fear, apathy, fatigue, anger, helplessness. Stabilisation groups will be organised for children who have witnessed hostilities and suffered severe emotional trauma.
The monthly costs per city centre are estimated to be EUR 3448,14. It is planned to provide support in the areas of Ivano-Frankivsk, Mukachevo, Uzhhorod, Lviv, Ternopil, Chernivtsi, Odesa and Khmelnytskyi regions.
