Since Russia’s full-scale war in Ukraine, Latvian residents and companies have donated 24.8 million euros for Ukraine through the website of Ziedot.lv:
- 2.5 million euros have been donated to support 21,275 Ukrainian refugees in Latvia.
- 2.3 million euros have been donated to Ukrainian hospitals.
- 5.8 million euros have been donated by sending over 370 humanitarian aid shipments. In response to the request of Ukraine’s First Lady Olena Zelenska, we have started collecting donations for the "Laptop Coalition". Thanks to the first donations, 650 laptops have already been provided to Chernihiv students. You can learn more and donate here.
- 14.2 million euros have been donated for Ukraine's defense, with the most frequent items being drones, night vision equipment, warm meals, clothing, shoes, and vehicles.
Surveying other Latvian NGOs, the total support provided amounts to nearly 60 million euros, contributed by 90 Latvian NGOs.
