On the second anniversary of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the head of the charity organization Ziedot.lv, Rūta Dimanta, has received a high Ukrainian state award—the Order of Princess Olga, 3rd class. The decree to award Rūta Dimanta was signed by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

On January 31, Ukraine's First Lady Olena Zelenska visited Latvia to meet with state officials, non-governmental organizations, donors, and the Ukrainian community. The first donors of the “Laptop Coalition” met with the First Lady to present 650 laptops to students in Chernihiv.
