Santa`s Fun Run 2018
Santa`s Fun Run has become a great tradition and sounds of Santa’s` familiar “Ho ho ho!” will be heard in Riga Old town on December 9th,2018 for the eleventh time already! The aim of this year’s charity run is to raise at least 10 000 EUR to support children with movement disorders. “LET’S RUN SO CHILDREN CAN WALK!”
Almost 60 000 Euros have been donated for the rehabilitation of children
On November 7, the closing of the joint charity campaign "There is one button between a person and a good deed" of the company "Maxima Latvija" and the rehabilitation centre "Poga". The campaign has been held since autumn last year in all stores of "Maxima Latvija" in order to support the rehabilitation of children in Latvia together with their cooperation partners.
Ziedot.lv has opened a new children’s rehabilitation centre as a gift to the children of Latvia
On Thursday, 26th November, in the presence of President Raimonds Vējonis, his wife Iveta Vējone and Health Minister Guntis Belēvičs, a new Ziedot.lv children’s rehabilitation centre was opened at Indrānu iela 13, Rīga. The new centre, “Poga”, will provide high-quality rehabilitation services using the latest technologies to meet the needs of children recovering from serious illnesses. Available technologies include the first implementation in Northern Europe of the G-EO System, a robotic-assisted device in gait rehabilitation.
New charity project
