More than 3 years have passed since the beginning of full-scale hostilities caused by russia's unprovoked aggression against Ukraine. These last 3 years are also a continuation of 11 years of the annexation of Crimea and the war in eastern Ukraine.
All this time, Ukrainian men and women have heroically resisted this aggression, defending the principles of international law and freedoms for which democratic societies and their people have laid down millions of lives. One of the first to meet the resistance of the aggressor are representatives of the border services, they are also those who remain to monitor the border as soon as it is determined. Employees of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine took part in more than 2000 clashes during large-scale actions, defending every centimetre of Ukrainian land.
The russian army continues to attack Ukrainian cities and villages every day, launching rocket and bomb strikes every day, killing people and destroying the lives of Ukrainians. At this critical time, Ukraine urgently needs support from international friends and partners.
Unfortunately, despite peace initiatives, hostilities continue today and the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, which has 15 thousand employees, continues to participate in them. In this regard, one of the challenges of meeting the needs is the availability of modern drones and thermal imaging equipment. With the help of drones and thermal imagers, Ukrainian border guards are able to identify the movements of the enemy and respond to them in time. We hope to send 100-150 drones and thermal imagers to the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.
