Alekss is five years old and has already undergone eight surgeries. Since birth, he has suffered from severe artrogriposis. This means severe problems with joints, muscles and ligaments. Walking without additional support is very complicated because the disease affects the hips, knees and feet.
With the support of contributors Alekss has received orthosis, which help him walk.
Now Alekss is walking and the diagnosis is not as severe, but the boy still has to constantly fight for his health. He needs the support of an adult with every step he takes.
Alekss is a very happy boy. He wishes to be healthy and to do everything other children can.
Rehabilitation course at the International Clinic of Rehabilitation in Truskavets, Ukraine, is really necessary. LVL 2 000 are needed to support Alekss.
