Ziedot.lv is launching a new charity stake, calling for traveling responsibly and deleting a “CO2 footprint.” In collaboration with local government ''Riga forest fund'' company SIA “Riga Forests”, we invite travellers who use avio flights to pay attention to the impact of flights on the environment, climate, and to delete THE CO2 foot caused by their flights by planting new trees.
A cargo of humanitarian aid is on its way to the earthquake-stricken city of Hatay in Turkey
Thanks to the donations of Latvian citizens and companies, on March 7, a humanitarian aid cargo with mobile showers, heaters, beds, mattresses and hygiene goods went to the earthquake-stricken city of Hatay.
A year at war - 38 million euros donated to Ukraine!
Since the Russian invasion of Ukraine, Latvian residents and companies have donated 38 million euros to support Ukraine. 90 Latvian societies and foundations are involved in providing assistance.
